For the second year in a row, EQuality Downers Grove (EQDG) held its Pride Fest on June 7 at Fishel Park in Downers Grove, one block away from the downtown shopping district. This is the fourth year EQDG has held a Pride Fest in Downers Grove.

In 2023, EQDG developed a questionnaire to explore both positive and negative experiences encountered daily by Downers Grove’s LGBTQ+ residents in response to the current hostility and marginalization experienced nationally and locally by this community.
